Yup, that’s right. After two years of hard work on/off for DPAC Executive and SD57 Office of the Superintendent, we are ready to LAUNCH!
The SD57 WORKING TOGETHER Best Practices Handbook for School Principals and PACs with the support of SD57 Senior Administration and DPAC will be a guide to fostering collaborative and inclusive relationships within our school communities. It helps everyone have a basic knowledge of role and responsibilities, how a PAC functions, and ways to enhance student outcomes by working together.
This one-hour virtual meeting will (hopefully) bring Principals and Parent reps from ALL 41 schools in our district. We need this information to get distributed in order to facilitate a strong start to the school year.

What to expect? Some introductions, history of how the Handbook came about, the purpose and values we share in SD57 and some highlights to point out from each section. There will be breakout rooms at the end for discussions with each family of schools.
