DPAC Minutes – Dec 5

Thank you to all who attended our Monthly DPAC Meeting on December 5. We are getting great participation from PACs. There was a celebration and appreciation for all that PACs do to support our school communities. We had a lively discussion about how PACs struggle to get parents involved and communicate with families. There are some big fundraising goals including outdoor playgrounds, sports equipment, and technology. See details in our minutes below. A more detailed report on playground grants will be available on the SD57 website in the new year.

The District Parent Advisory Council of School District 57, known as "DPAC", is the umbrella that brings together Parent Advisory Councils (PACs) and parents in School District 57 (SD57). We work with 41 schools in Prince George and the surrounding area including Hixon, Mackenzie, McBride, and Valemount.
