Our theme this month is Feeding Futures. A presentation was given by Acting District Principal, Harmen Kailay who outlined goals to address student hunger through equitable access, elimination of judgment, and food insecurity solutions. The initiative includes school-based lunches, a centralized lunch program, and ‘grab-and-go’ food options. Currently, the program provides approximately 4,800 snacks, 620 catering lunches, 1,000 site-prepared meals, and 2,300 breakfasts daily across the District.
