Thank you to all who took time out of their busy schedules to attend our April DPAC meeting last week – we met Jameel Aziz, the new SD57 Superintendent and heard how his onboarding plan is going within SD57. We also had a great presentation by Monica Berra, Principal Curriculum Innovation , on the Feeding Futures program and the Ministry funding for facility upgrades and expansion of our food programs at all SD57 schools.

BCCPAC is happy to welcome Amy Bond the A/Manager, Policy and Outreach from Community Gaming Grants at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to join us to share the updates and important information for the 2024/25 DPAC and PAC Gaming Grant program. We invite all members to join and bring any questions your district has.
BCCPAC Treasurer 101 is a free online workshop which will be presented by the BCCPAC Finance Committee. Whether you’re currently serving as a Treasurer, aspire to take on the role or simply wish to understand the financial aspects of governance, this workshop is for you. Join us to learn the ins and outs of dealing with record keeping for PACs and DPACs. We will cover the requirements for Gaming grants and licenses, budget creation and approval, report creation and much more. This workshop aims to share the best practices and provide the opportunity to ask questions.
