Superintendent Blog Being Updated

Congratulations to our Superintendent of Schools, Brian Pepper, on updating his blog on engaging learners.

A recent blog entry made reference to DPAC:

The DPAC is a valued partner group in our district. These hardworking volunteers are passionate about supporting parents in each of our schools and they make significant, important contributions at board committee meetings each month. Countless parent advisory council (PAC) participants at each of our schools offer important advice and provide valuable service to students and staff. I am honoured to be included on the agenda at every DPAC meeting, as are the liaison trustee and the presidents of all the school district’s recognized partner groups. This ongoing positive relationship is an important building-block in our district. We all recognize that by working together we are able to better support all learners in our classrooms.

and another blog entry has talked about the Student Support Services department:

It is necessary that all parties sit down together to discuss the issues and develop the best possible plan to work together in support of a child’s education! When it comes to children and learning – a home/school partnership focused on learning requirements and productive solutions is always the best method!

Other interesting posts talk about Nusdeh Yoh and Remembrance day ceremonies. We look forward to more communications in the future.
