Blank report cards – not to be sent

One blank report card was enough.

That seems to be the conclusion of the B.C. Education Ministry, which has decided not to issue another directive for schools to produce report cards with next-to-no information.

In a recent letter to superintendents, deputy minister James Gorman advised that they are excused from a legal obligation to provide parents with a written report on their children’s progress this spring, given the BCTF  job action.
