Regulations now public for Bill 22 class size compensation

B.C. teachers with more than 30 students in their classes next year will be entitled to extra pay, additional prep time, more professional-development money or extra funds for classroom supplies.

But such compensation, outlined in ministerial regulations, won’t be available for music, performing arts, Planning 10, leadership or online classes. Nor will it be offered for classes that are part of an alternative program, work study or specialty academy.
